Announcement on the nature reserve “Dubna floodplain”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

public consultation on the nature management plan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

On 4 February 2022 at 17.00<\/strong> an online (remote) meeting will be held for the Specially Protected Area, Nature Reserve <\/strong>“<\/em><\/strong>Dubnas floodplain” for public consultation on the nature management plan<\/strong>. The plan is being prepared by SIA “Vides Konsult\u0101ciju Birojs” on behalf of the Nature Conservation Agency.To participate in the meeting, please register in advance by sending an e-mail to birojs@vkb.lv<\/a> (please also send questions and proposals for consideration at the meeting).<\/p>\n\n

From 25 January 2022, the draft nature management plan, a video presentation and other information materials will be available on the websites www.vkb.lv<\/a> and www.daba.gov.lv<\/a> to introduce the objectives of the nature reserve, its natural values, management objectives and planned measures. The nature management plan can be consulted in person at the Prei\u013ci Municipality Upmala Parish Administration, Skolas iela 5, Vecv\u0101rkava, Upmala Parish, Prei\u013ci Municipality, LV-5335, working days 8.00-12.30 and 13.00-16.30, tel. 26543751.<\/p>\n\n

We invite residents, landowners, businesses and anyone interested to read the plan and participate in the public consultation meeting in order to receive up-to-date information and express constructive views on the planned management and use of the area in a timely manner!<\/p>\n\n

We invite to express opinions and make proposals on the draft plan during the meeting or in writing until 9 February 2022<\/strong>, addressing them to the plan developers SIA “Vides Konsult\u0101ciju Birojs” (Ezermalas iela 28, Riga, LV-1014,e-pasts:birojs@vkb.lv,<\/a> tel. 67557668, www.vkb.lv)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

The development of the plan is carried out within the framework of the Nature Census or the European Union Cohesion Fund project “Establishment of preconditions for better biodiversity conservation and ecosystem protection in Latvia” No. 5.4.2.1\/16\/I\/001.<\/p>\n\n
