Our core advisory services and their applications

Applications for permits for polluting activities in categories A, B and C

Required for all companies carrying out polluting activities. Category A is for large industrial facilities (oil refining, metallurgy, large power plants), Category B is for medium-sized industrial facilities (food plants, wood processing, chemical industry), Category C is for smaller facilities (garages, petrol stations, small boiler houses).

Draft emission limit values for stationary sources (SPAELP)

Mandatory for companies with stationary emission sources (boiler houses, chimneys, ventilation outlets). The project determines, by mathematical calculations, the permissible emission levels of pollutants ensuring compliance with air quality standards in the surrounding area and serves as part of the application for a polluting activity permit.

Industrial accident prevention programmes, action plans, safety reports

To be developed for facilities where hazardous substances (chemicals, petroleum products, gas) are stored or used. The documents shall ensure a systematic approach to the identification, prevention and preparedness of accident risks, protecting workers, the surrounding population and the environment.

Civil protection plans

Required for sensitive sites and critical infrastructure companies. Plans ensure an organised response to natural disasters, technogenic accidents or other emergencies, including evacuation plans, notification systems and cooperation with emergency services.

Environmental reports

Annual reports on the environmental performance of the company, required for Category A and B permit holders, and voluntary for companies with ISO 14001 or EMAS certification. Document the achievement of environmental targets, emissions dynamics and improvements made.

Calculation and reporting of taxes on natural resources

Mandatory for all companies that use natural resources or cause pollution. Ensures accurate tax calculation for air and water pollution, waste disposal, extraction of natural resources, packaging and environmentally harmful goods, allowing to optimise the tax burden.

Statements "No.2-Gas", "No.2-Water", "No.3-Waste"

Mandatory statistical reports to the CSP and the LVGMC for companies with a certain amount of pollution. No.2-Air - on air emissions, No.2-Water - on water consumption and wastewater, No.3-Waste - on the amount of waste generated and managed. The data are used to inform national environmental policy.

Ozone-depleting substances and fluorinated greenhouse gases

Mandatory for companies using refrigeration, air conditioners, heat pumps or fire-fighting systems with Freons. The reports ensure compliance with EU regulations and help control emissions of these substances into the atmosphere.

Site specific air quality impact assessments

Required for new car parks (over 50 spaces), logistics centres, factories and other sites with potential for air pollution. The opinion assesses the emissions from the facility and their impact on the surrounding area, ensuring compliance with air quality standards.

Pollution modelling

For use in designing new facilities, expanding existing plants or analysing emergency scenarios. Mathematical models predict the distribution of pollution in the atmosphere, water or soil, allowing impact zones to be assessed and protective measures to be optimised.

Environmental noise modelling and assessment

Mandatory for large car parks, factories, transport infrastructure. Modelling determines noise levels in the surrounding area, identifies areas of exceedance and helps design noise reduction measures (barriers, walls, greenery).

Preparation and implementation of environmental documentation

Includes environmental logbooks for waste, water and hazardous substances, instructions for employees, environmental procedures for ISO 14001 systems. The documentation ensures systematic environmental management within the company and compliance with regulatory requirements in day-to-day operations.

Environmental impact assessments (EIAs)

They are indispensable for major infrastructure and development projects such as roads, railways, ports, airports, mining, landfills, large farms and factories. EIAs help to identify a project's potential impacts on the environment and society, and to develop measures to mitigate or avoid negative effects.

Strategic Environmental Impact Assessments (SEIAs)

To be developed for spatial plans, local plans, development programmes and sectoral policies. EIA ensures that environmental aspects are integrated at the planning stage, assessing the impacts of different development scenarios and proposing the most sustainable solutions to local and national authorities.
